

WOLF THEISS NAMED "AUSTRIAN LAW FIRM OF THE YEAR 2006"

The award, which is awarded annually by IFLR (International Financial Law Review) in London to the best law firms in Europe, went to Wolf Theiss as best the Austrian law firm for the second time.
On 22nd March 2006 IFLR awarded the “Teams of the Year”, “Deals of the Year” and National Law Firms of the Year” in London's Dorchester Hotel. The IFLR awards those law firms which distinguish themselves through their outstanding advice, especially in the area of international transactions.
The award “Austrian Law Firm of the Year” was given to Wolf Theiss for the second time (Wolf Theiss having won the award in 2003). “Quality, innovation and teamwork are the most important factors for success when consulting in international transactions of high complexity”, says Andreas Theiss who accepted the award together with partners Andreas Schmid, Ralf Peschek and Richard Wolf. “Last year our teams in the various different disciplines did an outstanding job - being named “Austrian Law Firm of the Year” this year may the best confirmation of that”, said Wolf Theiss's Managing Partner Markus Heidinger.
